Since the uprising in Ferguson parents have been sitting down to have the tough discussion of race in America with their children. With these conversations, many educators and librarians took to Twitter and started the hashtag #KidLit4Justice  as they shared some of their favorite books used to aide the conversations.

Sometimes these conversation bring about more questions that parents are still looking for the right way to explain - to tell a Black or Brown boy and girl that because of their skin color some people may treat them differently.
